Sunday Service

Sundays Starting at 10:45 am

We believe gathering together as the Body of Christ to worship is crucial for our ongoing spiritual formation. We sing together, pray together, study the scriptures, and receive the eucharist.

"Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, but encouraging one another" (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Sunday Classes

Sundays Starting at 9:30 am

We prioritize studying the Bible, learning about theology, and growing in our faith. We offer several learning opportunities in a multi-generational setting.

"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts" (Colossians 3:16).

The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the classical Wesleyan-Holiness tradition-- tracing our roots to John Wesley. We emphasize holy living, faithful discipleship, and global engagement, which is reflected in our denominational mission statement: “To make Christlike disciples in the nations.”

Here at Selah Nazarene, we're committed to passionately following Jesus and loving all people. On Sundays, we gather for worship, prayer, and scripture reading in community. We sing some songs, read and teach from the Bible, and enjoy each others company. All are welcome-- come as you are! Together, we're learning to practice compassion in our neighborhood and our world, and we're seeking to steward our resources for the sake of influence and impact.

Selah Church of the Nazarene is open to worshippers of all ages and backgrounds who are seeking to follow Jesus and cultivate a thriving faith life. We have a long history of serving the people of Selah and the Yakima Valley. In the summer of 2020, we welcomed a new pastor (Pastor Alicia McClintic), and we're dreaming about what this new season of ministry will look like.

We hope you'll join us!
